In Ottawa, the Atelier du Déclic offers an introduction to spreadsheets for adults.
Four Tuesdays, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; no more than eight participants.
Price: CAD 64 for the course, including an on-site computer and practical handouts.
Learn to organise a budget, compare prices and create a personal calendar.
No knowledge of formulas is required; you work through fictional examples without sharing your personal information.
One missed session can be made up free of charge with another group, by reservation.
