TCF TEF Study (tcftefstudy.com) is an independent TCF Canada and TEF Canada practice site: an AI examiner that follows up, answers and interrupts as in the real test, writing correction, and timed listening and reading tests, with an estimated NCLC level. What we offer
- A voice AI examiner for TCF Canada speaking (3 tasks) and TEF Canada speaking (sections A and B), that follows up, answers only what it is asked or interrupts depending on the task.
- Correction of writing tasks with the official word-count rule and two model answers (towards NCLC 7 and NCLC 10).
- Full listening and reading sets: TCF 4 + 4, TEF 3 + 4, with audio.
- Free tools: NCLC converter, French CRS calculator, official facts table.
What is free
- Free every day, no sign-up: 1 full speaking task, 1 writing correction, 3 sixty-second speaking trials and 1 full listening or reading test; unlimited listening/reading practice. Allowances reset at midnight UTC.
- Full access: US$19 (7 days), US$39 (30 days), US$69 (90 days), one-time with no automatic renewal, 10 speaking tasks and 10 corrections a day.
Where topics come from
- Every topic is original (1,192 for speaking and writing so far), written to each task's official format. We do not collect or rewrite topics reported by candidates.
- Every topic passes automatic checks, then a double review by two AI models from two different vendors; when they disagree, a third model decides. Each listening and reading set is then reviewed again as a whole by both models.
How scores are estimated
- Every spoken or written answer is assessed 5 times and the median is kept; an identical text submitted again returns the same report.
- The result is an estimated NCLC range, never an official score: the official raters' detailed grid is not public. We rely on the published criteria and CEFR descriptors.
- NCLC conversions use IRCC's tables; for TEF, only the “Équivalence ancien score” column.
