How do we estimate your score?
We weight correct answers by difficulty: A1 = 1, A2 = 2, B1 = 3, B2 = 4, C1 = 5, C2 = 6. The weighted total is scaled linearly to 100–699 for TCF, or TEF ancien score 0–360 for listening and 0–300 for reading. The official algorithm is not public: these are not official scores. We show an indicative band of ±50 TCF points, ±30 TEF listening or ±25 TEF reading points, bounded by the scale, then the corresponding NCLC range using the IRCC table. This margin has not yet been calibrated and is not a confidence interval. Only a complete section in exam mode receives an estimate; practice and partial sets show correct answers only.
